Toa Pomare

Toa studied Agriculture at Massey University, following this he worked in Europe for three years and joined the finance and investment division of Fletcher Challenge for the six years following.

For the last 27 years Toa has been involved with Investment Banking transactions involving Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Fisheries and property projects.

Under Toa’s management, Atiawa Nui Tonu Fisheries Ltd has doubled its net asset value and increased its revenue three fold over the last six years.

Toa is also Deputy-Chairman the Port Nicholson Block Settlement Trust. Now, as a director of the Taranaki Whānui Commercial Board, he continues his mission to benefit future generations of Taranaki Whānui.
